Growing up right down the street from the Cape Cod Canal and railroad bridge, I have many fond memories of time spent there. When Jenna and Gary reached out to me about photographing their Rhode Island wedding, the cape was the last place I expected them to choose for their engagement session! I was so excited that they chose a Cape Cod Canal engagement session, because early morning and golden hour light on the canal is just beautiful!
I knew from the first e-mail from Jenna and Gary that I was going to love working with them! They are such a laid-back couple and have a Golden Retriever named Clemson who is like their child. Dog people are my kind of people! They asked me if they would be able to bring Clemson with them for their session (the answer is ALWAYS yes!) and I was so excited to meet all three of them in person!
The evening of their session turned out to be bright, very windy and cold. Neither of them complained even once during the whole session! It’s not easy to feel your best when the wind is whipping your hair all over the place, but Jenna did so well! Her bubbly personality shined through all of the images. Gary was a trooper and had perfected his modeling face not even half way through the session!
Love these! Aren’t they so sweet?
Such a good boy!
Look at that glowy light!
There’s nothing I love more during a couple’s session than genuine smiles and laughter!
Jenna and Gary, thank you guys for being so wonderful! The love you two have for each other is so sweet and so genuine. I had so much fun hanging out with you and Clemson during your engagement session. So excited for the wedding!
